These islands, which are connected to the mainland by a sandy cover and are very rare today, are called “tombolo”.
The famous Pastrovici tribe used this place in the past, especially in the 15th century, to protect themselves from their enemies, and today we are reminded of this with cannon foci and cannons kept as souvenirs and memories of past times. The inner part of the city consists of winding, narrow streets. There are also picturesque squares, 3 churches and our hotel desserts in elegant houses built in the Mediterranean style.

Veti Stefan is a summer resort for elite tourists and tourists who love splendor. When the decision was made to turn it into a tourist resort in the late 1940s, a new history began to be created for Sveti Stefan. Since then, its splendor has been presented to the world by actors such as Sofia Loren and Carlo Bruni, as well as presidents of many countries of the world, singers, scientists and many others. The British Princess Margaret, the Italian King II of Savoy, Charles VII of Savoy and many more. World famous actors such as Charles, Umberto and Kirk Douglas, Doris Day, Geraldine Chaplin, Sidney Poatie, Richard Vidmark, Sylvester Stallone, Jeremy Irons also stayed there… Famous literary figures Andre Marlow and Alberto Moravia, Soviet astronaut Yuri Gagarin, famous chess master Robert Fisher and the most beautiful woman in the world Claudia Shifer also stayed in Sveti Stefan. Most of the mentioned “crowned heads” stayed in villa number 118, which is part of the “Sveti Stefan” hotel complex. The price of accommodation in this private villa is negotiated with the renter. The starting price is 1,500 euros per day.

In 1972, Sveti Stefan received the “Golden Apple” award as the most exclusive summer resort in the world.

The nearby place, which used to be the royal summer residence and is now operated as a hotel, is called “Milocer”.

Hotel Milocer is completely surrounded by pine forests. In the immediate vicinity there is a magnificent park with pine-lined paths, small parks beautifully landscaped with various flowers, two beaches, a walking path along a smaller hill leading to the Sveti Stefan hotel. Lunch or dinner in the hotel’s open-air restaurant, built of the finest white stone, is a special experience.

A natural setting like Milocer is ideal for other tourists with a refined taste, the perfect place for the pleasures of peaceful relaxation disturbed only by the chirping of a bird or the murmur of swimmers.
