Air transportation. There are several dozen planes that land at the Podgorica and Tivat airports every day during the high season, with visitors from around the world.

Maritime transportation. Montenegro Lines is the naval company that connects Montenegro to Italy with a regular service all over the year. The fleet is made of ships connecting the italian ports of Bari and Ancona to the port of Bar in Montenegro

A large number of passenger ships dock daily in the port of Bar and port of Kotor. The most famous world cruise ship companies are included Montenegrin ports in their regular itineraries (MSC Cruises, Costa Cruises, Royal Caribbean Internationals, Celebrity Cruises, Princess Cruises, Silversea Cruises, Viking Ocean Cruises, Holland America Line …).

Numerous marinas along the coastline host small and medium-sized yachts, the most popular of which are Porto Montenegro in Tivat, Porto Novi and Budva Marina.

Railway transportation. There is no modern railway in Montenegro. Ride with trains can be specific kind of experience, but we do not suggest this kind of transport for people who expect high quality service.

Bus transportation. Montenegro have excellent bus connection between all main points. There is local bus transport, and of course bus transport to cities around the Europe (especially for main destination in neighbour countries).

Road transportation. In recent years, Montenegro has invested significantly into the road infrastructure, in order to enable faster, safer and more pleasant arrival to the country for as many tourists as possible.

Once you come to Montenegro, you can also use the services of various rent-a-car companies. There is an increasing number of small agencies which use modern vehicles to transport the tourists to all the significant tourist locations.
